I have been buying Hotter shoes, boots and slippers for many years and 99% of the time I am very happy with them.
However, with the recent slippers I found that they are too high/roomy and, being slip ons, I slip out of them when walking which is not ideal or acceptable as I have a condition similar to Multiple Sclerosis which affects my grip and feeling in my feet.
My previous slippers, from Hotter, which I have just washed again in the washing machine, and are probably well over 10 years old, were and still are ideal as they have a snug fit and a slight slope downwards from the heel to toe which stopped me walking out of them. I wash them from time to time, in the washing machine, and wrapped tightly in a net bag. They come out fresh and clean but are now looking a touch worn these days. However, they are far more comfortable and usable than your new variety as I do not walk out of them. I am sure this is an important factor for older people too who also need something to 'grip' to their feet' to avoid tripping!
I have lost count of the number of Hotter shoes, sandals and boots I have bought over the years and most of which I can still enjoy and wear.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
